The Novelis 10Kan Race This Saturday!
The Novelis 10Kan Race Committee is proud to present the 2nd Annual 10Kan event Saturday, September 20, 2008. The inaugural event was a huge success. The event raised over $45,000 for Habitat for Humanity, provided a fun-filled and unique educational field trip to over 2000 children, and brought attention to the importance of recycling and leading a healthy lifestyle.

Kan you Volunteer? We need your help on race day Saturday, September 20, 2008. Volunteer assignments will be between 7:30 a.m. – Noon. Sign up today by e-mailing sharris2@oswego.edu or call (315) 312-5609. Please indicate any disabilities, medical conditions, or preferences regarding volunteer assignments you would like us to be aware of. Assignments may include: Monitoring an intersection, passing out water during the walking, running, and cycling races, or assisting at Breitbeck Park (registration, children’s activities, food and beverage).
Kan you donate your cans to help support Habitat for Humanity? We have set up a very user friendly process to donate your cans and bottles towards Habitat for Humanity. Simply bring your cans to one of the redemption centers listed below and indicate that they are to be donated to Habitat. If you will be participating in the race, then 200 aluminum cans will be accepted as your registration fee and you will receive a registration voucher.
